Learn to THRIVE and build a life grounded in Health and Wholeness...

Counseling Services. I work with pre-teens through adults of varied backgrounds experiencing personal and professional challenges that have left them feeling disconnected from their passion and joy, confused, stuck, and/or broken. I offer individual, couples and family therapy to address relationship difficulties and life transitions; anxiety, PTSD and complex trauma; depression and mood disorders; grief and loss. Together, we establish a therapeutic relationship that is honest, straightforward, challenging and inspiring, and devoted to your best YOU.

I strongly welcome clients from diverse backgrounds and am committed to providing culturally-aware and bilingual services. Read below and contact me to schedule a free consultation.

Therapeutic Approach. My approach draws from mindfulness-based Expressive Arts Therapies, trauma-informed Attachment, Regulation and Competency (ARC) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).

Growth and healing requires energy and commitment, and all of these approaches require active participation from you, the client. With my support, you will come to deeply understand your personal strengths, compassionately tend to your emotional wounds or "road blocks," and learn evidence-based techniques to build your connection to Health, Wholeness, and Joy. You will co-create a roadmap to building a life in which you THRIVE.

For individuals seeking an emphasis on mindfulness-based Expressive Arts Therapy, sessions may incorporate mantra chant, kirtan, meditation, and yoga.

Education and Training. I hold a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology and Music Therapy from Lesley University (Cambridge, U.S.A.) and a Certificate in Traumatic Stress Studies from The Trauma Center (Boston, U.S.A.). I am a board-licensed psychotherapist (LMHC) and board-certified music therapist (MT-BC) within the United States, most recently serving as Clinical Director within the Justice Resource Institute, and now in private practice. I regularly present my work at professional conferences for the International Expressive Arts Therapy Association (IEATA), American Music Therapy Association (AMTA), and the New England Region of the American Music Therapy Association (NER-AMTA).

Licensing. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor of the Massachusetts Board of Allied Mental Health (U.S.A.).

Fees. I offer one free 25-minute consultation session either in-person or via phone for new clients. Thereafter, fees are $120 per 50-minute individual session; $150 per 60-minute couple/family session. Session length may be adjusted based on client needs and schedule availability. Sliding scale fees may be available for clients with financial need. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours email/voicemail notice are charged the full-session fee.
