Brainspotting in Ann Arbor & Boston
Brainspotting Therapy in Ann Arbor & Boston
A focused, body-based approach for trauma, anxiety, emotional growth and healing
Brainspotting is a neuroscience-informed therapy that uses fixed eye positions (“brainspots”) and bilateral stimulation (eye movements, tapping, biolateral sound, etc.) to help process and release trauma, anxiety, and deeply held emotional patterns. Emerging from EMDR, Brainspotting is especially effective when traditional talk therapy has not fully resolved what feels “stuck.”
I offer Brainspotting therapy in Ann Arbor, MI, Boston, MA, and surrounding areas. I also offer Brainspotting via coaching for clients nationwide and internationally, allowing for flexible, growth-oriented support wherever you are.
What Brainspotting Can Help With
Brainspotting supports both healing and expansion—addressing what feels unresolved while also strengthening the internal states you want to cultivate.
Healing:
- Trauma and PTSD
- Anxiety, panic, and chronic stress
- Relationship challenges and emotional reactivity
- Grief, loss, and life transitions
- Nervous system dysregulation
Expansion:
- Clarity and direction
- Confidence and self-trust
- Creativity and artistic expression
- Flow states and peak performance
- Alignment with future goals
This dual approach makes Brainspotting especially powerful if you are not only looking to heal, but also to grow, create, and move forward with greater ease and thriving.
What to Expect
Brainspotting sessions are gentle, focused, and deeply attuned.
Together, we identify a visual focal point connected to your experience, or a state you would like to cultivate. As you hold awareness there, your brain and body begin to process and integrate naturally. Sessions may include moments of quiet, reflection, and guided support.
You don’t need to explain everything. No forced sharing or reliving trauma. Your system leads the work.
Integrative Approach
As a Brainspotting therapist, I integrate:
- Somatic therapy
- Internal Family Systems (IFS)
- Imago Relationship Therapy
- Music and voice-based practices
There is no one-size-fits-all approach. My work with you will be both effective and personalized.
